Communalis is an international research society interested in transdisciplinary issues regarding psycho-social processes of sense production related to communication, argumentation, and individual and social representations, created to honor the remarkable Swiss logician and communication scholar Jean-Blaise Grize.
Although the society's name just mentions the domains developed by the master of Neuchâtel - communication and natural logic - its mission is broader, extending to the universes of meanings and sense making, from the contributions of the neurosciences to studies on discourse, from plural informal languages to formal codes.
